Turkey Shoot is called as Escape 2000 and Blood Camp Thatcher, when it is being released in places other than Australia.

The producer of the original classic, Turkey Shoot of 1982, Tony Ginnane who was also the producer for the original Patrick and its current remake, has joined with Jon Hewitt the director of X and Acolytes to bring the remake to the big screen again. With the Hunger Games becoming a huge success, it is the right time to see the 1995 drama again, where hunting is hailed as the national sport with the prey being the people.
The title of the remake is Turkey Shoot: Resurrected, and the film already has the cast that includes stars of Spartacus: Vengeance, Viva Bianca and Liam McIntyre. Hewitt had earlier worked with Bianca in X. McIntyre had till now been appearing in TV shows only, but has currently been roped in for a major screen role in the movie Hercules 3D, which is directed by Renny Harlin. With McIntrye being appreciated much for his TV roles, he would have a better future in films to which these films will serve as stepping stones.
